Stability Testing of Food Supplements

Due to the specific nature of food supplements and pharmaceutical products, and the need to ensure safety and quality throughout the entire declared shelf life, systematic monitoring is essential. Stability testing is one of the most effective methods for verifying these properties.

At J.S. Hamilton laboratories, we offer a variety of storage chambers and cabinets, as well as refrigerators and freezers, which allow simulation of conditions across five climatic zones.

Temperature and humidity ranges of our chambers:

Temperature: 20 °C – 55 °C

Humidity: 60 % – 75 %

Temperature ranges of refrigerators and freezers:

4–6 °C, 6–8 °C, 0–5 °C, 4–6 °C, 2–8 °C, ≤ -18 °C

During storage, we test the product’s microbiological quality, physico-chemical properties, and organoleptic characteristics.

The results of these tests provide clear information on how the product behaves under different conditions and whether it maintains high quality throughout its declared shelf life.
